1 small exercise book (top half blank/ bottom half lined)
1 plastic pencil box
1 pair of metal scissors - `Fiskars for Kids' cut the best                                   
1 white vinyl eraser
1 box crayons (16 or 24 colours)  *Please put your child's name on each crayon
4 Hb pencils
3 LARGE glue sticks (yellow UHU brand last the longest)
1 large or regular sized box kleenex
1 scrap book (side coil) - sheets should be at least 35.6 x 27.9 cm
1 large book bag
1 paint shirt (a man's shirt works well)
1 pair of gym shoes to be left at school – parents can choose Velcro OR with tie-up shoes  (If tie-up, please have FLAT laces)

- Healthy snack for each day
- milk … available through school program
- cut up fruit, vegetables
- cheese/crackers
*Avoid sugary snacks, please!

PARENTS ARE ASKED TO PLEASE PLACE NAME LABELS ON EACH ITEM THE CHILD BRINGS TO SCHOOL, INCLUDING OUTER FOOTWEAR, MITTS, AND LUNCH KITS WHICH SHOULD HAVE THE BUS NUMBER AS WELL AS STUDENT'S NAME.  THIS PRACTICE SHOULD BE CARRIED ON THROUGHOUT THE SCHOOL YEAR!
