There are many opportunities for education with the Department of
National Defense. Currently the Canadian Forces Naval Engineering
School in St. Johns is looking for applicants for a diploma program in
Engineering. There are opportunities in the area of Electromechanical
Engineering, Electronics Engineering, and Marine Engineering Technicians.
Applicants will be accepted based on Grade 11 marks and can begin the
program after their Grade 12 year. Students are paid $29,000 during
