The Foundation for the Advancement of Aboriginal Youth Program is a
program to support Aboriginal High School and Post Secondary Students. Any
Aboriginal students heading into grade 9 or higher at a Canadian High School
may want to investigate the Bursary Option. Any Aboriginal students
studying or planning to study full-time at an accredited post-secondary
institution may want to look into the Scholarship option. More information

a university AND technical school subsidization program. For the
following programs, if a student completes one of the SIAST courses, they
may qualify to apply to the Canadian Forces and receive a waiver for some of
the military training and an accelerated program. (Primary Care

Saskatchewan Youth Apprenticeship:
A wonderful way to explore the Skilled Trades. In completing
passport challenges, students can investigate various trades, earn

Encounters with Canada:
Do you want to learn more about Canada and meet new friends? This program is hosted
at the Terry Fox Canadian Youth Centre in Ottawa and costs $625/participant
(includes week long workshop, accommodation, meals, etc.) A one-week
Canadian Studies program held at The Terry Fox Canadian Youth Centre.
Ages 14-17. Sub themed weeks include Sports and Fitness, Arts and
Culture, medicine and Health, Science and Technology, Law, Royal Canadian
Mounted Police, Journalism and Communications, Business and
Entrepreneurship, Canadian Politics, Ecology and Environment, International
Affairs, and Canada Remembers. |

This is a non-profit youth organization with over 4,000 members province
wide. They offer various programs in which students improve
leadership, communications, public speaking, etc. skills. Check it
